This winter, we face an urgent challenge. The Odem Forest Farm needs your help to survive the cold and move to a new location. Our mission to rescue animals and provide hope to people in need is at risk, and we need your support to continue.
The Odem Forest Farm in Israel is facing an existential crisis. Our current location is no longer viable, and we must relocate to a new site and start anew. The recent fighting in northern Israel has caused a dramatic decline in visitors, leaving us with zero income. We are struggling to keep the farm running and provide for the animals we’ve rescued – animals that, in turn, have helped heal countless wounded hearts.
Your donation will allow us to rebuild this sanctuary and continue offering rehabilitation, healing, and hope.
Winters in the Golan Heights are unforgiving, and our animals urgently need safe, warm shelters to survive. Without your support, their health and well-being are at risk.
We have just three months to relocate and rebuild the farm. We need to build new infrastructure, shelters, and homes for both the animals and the staff. We also need a new therapeutic space to continue our veterans' program, providing hope and healing to those who need it most.
My name is Alon Borenstein, and I’m the founder of Odem Forest Farm. Our mission began from my own struggles with PTSD, and my deep desire to create a place where both animals and people can find healing. The farm is a sanctuary for animals rescued from abuse and neglect, and it’s also a therapeutic center for people dealing with trauma, PTSD, and other challenges.
At Odem Forest Farm, we believe in the power of mutual care between humans and animals. Through our programs, we empower individuals to heal and regain hope by connecting with the animals and the serene forest environment. Every day, we see the incredible transformations that love and compassion can bring to both animals and humans alike.

Ensuring all structures are ready for the freezing cold, purchasing food, heating equipment, and providing veterinary care.
Ensuring our dedicated workers – including those with disabilities – are compensated, allowing them to continue their crucial work.
Every dollar you contribute helps ensure the survival of the farm, its animals, and the people who find healing here. Your generosity will provide a future for those in need and help us build a new farm – a sanctuary of hope, peace, and compassion for all.
